Better Business, Bigger Impact: We’re Officially B Corp Certified!

We’re excited to share that Granular Energy is now B Corp certified! We are thrilled to join a global community of businesses dedicated to bringing benefits for all.

Granular Energy is built on driving positive environmental change through the enablement of clean electricity. But our values reach beyond the environment to support our employees, customers and communities.

What does it mean to be a B Corp?

Becoming a B Corp certified company means meeting high standards of social and environmental performance, transparency, and accountability. More importantly for us, it’s a commitment to continuous positive change and constantly striving for better. Every three years, we’ll be recertified to ensure we’re improving and meeting B Lab’s evolving standards.

Being part of the B Corp movement also means we’re joining forces with inspiring businesses worldwide to create systemic change. It’s important for us to be surrounded by other players shaping tomorrow’s system that works for people and the planet. Our pioneering client Good Energy is also a B Corp and we’re excited to share the journey with them.

A journey of continuous improvement

Over the past months, our employee led environmental stewardship group The Planeteers have worked together with our B Lab analyst to answer questions and provide documentation on the five Impact Areas Pillars. And we made the cut! There is still a lot of room for growth, and we are committed to continuously improving in the areas where we fall short.
